For my current project; "Peace in Web 2.0", I need your expertise and knowledge!
“Peace in Web 2.0” is a project for TFF (Transnational Foundation For Peace and Future Research), and it aims at investigating how the message of ProPeace and the culture of Web 2.0 could be amalgamated.
How can Peace be discussed in positive ways and bring people togheter? How are people mobilized online? Through which channels? Are there good examples of people-movements online? On collaborative knowledge-production?
netnografi.blogspot.com is a semi-scientifical blog. As a tool and method, netnography (swedish: netnografi) is used. This is a kind of virtual fieldwork in true anthropological fashion. My fieldwork will be in the form of participating in different forums (Do you know about any?), studying peoples interactions online, interviewing online (tell me if you want to be an informant) and mapping different architectures of Web 2.0.
Contribute with your knowledge and information about Web 2.0, social media, netnography and “Peace in Web 2.0”, read, comment, link etc. Contact me on edbertsson@gmail.com, or write directly to me in this blog.
Yours sincerely
Rikard Edbertsson
